i would tell him straight up that if he doesn't quit being such a jerk you're going to go find other friends because right now he's not really acting like a friend and you don't need to deal with him if you don't want to. friends are supossed to make you laugh and like being around, not bring you down and make you feel like crap. I had a friend like that and i just basically stopped being around her and started hangin out with my other friends. she got really mad and talked trash about me for a little bit but nobody else liked her so it didnt do any damage. in fact it did more damage to her rep then to mine. now i have wonderful friends who make me laugh and i love to hang out with. either he needs to quit being such a jerk or you need to stand up for yourself and leave him.
