I have had pleurisy and yes it is very painful. The anxiety will make it worse as it did in my case. As for helping it to get better you are already taking an anti inflammatory. You need to try to get your mind off the pain and upcoming week at work so try to focus on something else.

I think that it's a very interesting plotline, and it could grip a wide variety of readers. However, it is very complex, and you'll have to think of a way that you can present it without it being too confusing. Burning Pain where neck and base of skull meet behind left ear?

First I should start with a few details about myself, I am 23, male quit smoking cold turkey 3 months ago and only have an occasional drink among friends, I have deployed to a war zone multiple times and in general quite healthy. Recently I've been noticing an onset of symptoms (though I can't tell you exactly when they began, but they didn't start at the same time) that have caused me and my partner some concern. The first symptom began about a week ago, a burning sensation in my upper neck close to the base of my skull on the left side close to my ear, I only feel the burning when pressure is applied. Along with this symptom I've been waking up with splitting migraine-like headaches that will often last for days at a time with slight dizziness and loss of hand eye coordination. I also feel a detachment from the world around me, and seem distant from people I have known all of my life, which usually leads to depression until I am able to get to sleep, which is a difficult task in itself due not feeling as like I'm getting enough air, tossing and turning, and waking up suddenly feeling like I stopped breathing. On my drives to work my mind will wander off into strange violent scenarios and episodes of rage that I simply cannot deter. I haven't spoken with a doctor yet (being in the military I'd like the advice of a civilian doctor before I am discharged with a week's worth of Motrin, orders to drink more water and a bunch of nasty jokes). Terrible allergies?

It's probably seasonal and I hate it too. I use Zyrtec at night. It's drowsy but it lasts 24 hours so before bed is okay. There is also Benadryl which is very drowsy also take before bed. Maybe Flonase or Nasonex. Flonase smells like flowers and the smell stays in your nose for 5-10 minutes and it's very refreshing. I used to use it. Hm. Try some herbal over-the-counter medications. The back of your throat itching is definitely allergies.

Chest and upper back pains after exercising?

Yesterday was the first day of volleyball tryouts..I haven't exercised all winter which wasn't smart and now I'm paying for it. It was a 7hr day, involving core exercises(sit-ups, pushups, jumping, etc) and a LOT of running. Well, besides being somewhat tired after wasn't too bad until that night around 11pm. (we finished at 6) since 11 last night and still this afternoon I've had chest pains that include my upper back that have kept me from sleeping much. It feels tight..sort of a stabbing pain at the same time. I sort of have a hard time breathing too and it's a little scary but I ume its because of the sudden strenuous activity. Help? Why is my neutered rabbit aggessive?

I've had my two rabbits for eight months and they were good boys up until they were four months of age. One of my rabbits Jasper, was having behavioral problems and was attacking my other rabbit Chester. Chester wasn't doing anything except for Jasper. So we got both of them neutered. Jasper had a fast recovery and was jumping around the very day of the operation. It was a little harder for Chester, but he recovered with no problems. About a few weeks after the surgery, Chester began to be more aggressive . It started with just growling in the cage whenever he got picked up but he's been neutered for more than four months and now he's biting, scratching, growling and pouting all the time! He used to be a sweet little guy who would love to kiss and literally give hugs, but now he's a brat! Career help please?

There is a fine line between an interest and a pion. Something we find to be of interest will only last as long as it takes us to get to know everything about it. Then we are ready to educate ourselves on another topic. Something we have a pion for, you never lose interest in. We always end up going back to it. Jumping from job to job after a couple months does not look good on a resume, even if you were not fired. It shows an employer lack of comittment when they are viewing your resume, and often will be set aside. Stick with one job while you are in school, unless you absolutely have to switch jobs. Find your pion, probably zoology, from the way it sounds... and go for it.

Joining the Marines after acl surgery?

I had ACL surgery back in January 08. They took 1/3 of my patella tendon and grafted that into my new acl. In July my Dr. said that my knee stability was back to 100%, but that it would take a while longer for my knee strength to also reach 100%. My hope is to join the Marines as an infantryman in Jan 09, giving my knee a full year of healing. Has anyone else joined the Marines or another branch after acl surgery, and will my knee be able to withstand bootcamp?

I have been having weird feelings lately and find my self extremely anxious as well as getting bad stomach aches and headaches along with general aches and pains. We have lived in our house for 4 years now and I have spent every spring and summer fixing up the lawn, even hiring someone to do it for us at one point. Well, I woke up this morning and went out to mow the lawn and found that a good quarter of my lawn was torn up. How to make my biceps more solid?

Okay so i weight lift about 5 days a week. I do 3 sets of bicep curls except i do this thing where you start as if your going to do a hammer curl and then rotate your arm so it turns into a normal curl halfway through (apparently it makes your bicep wider). Anyway i do about 16 reps in each set. I also use the lat pull down (which i ume must be working them to some extent as well) and i also do 3 sets of 16 reps on my triceps. I take whey protein shakes after workout as well. Now my biceps are getting bigger but they dont feel very solid. My friend who started working out at the same time as me, has really solid feeling biceps even though he though he lifts 5 days a week as well. Any reason for this? Thanks

Okay so, for the past month i have been gradually building up my gym workouts and cutting out things like alcohol etc. im going on holiday in 70 days and would really be aiming to lose 30 pounds, i am 20, and my basic diet during this period is going to be that of porridge made with water (+a bit of honey or jam) for bfast, low cal+fat soup for lunch, then lean protein like tuna or chicken with fresh veg for tea, snacks are things like fruit, a weight watchers yoghurt or a special k bar. So starting monday i increased my daily gym time time to an hour of cardio (a mix of cycle, jog/run/crcross trainerthen sit ups and other various strength machine things. also hour walks/jogs in the parks with friends after if its not raining. Will i notice a change in the 70 days? or have i left it too late...

Well not sure what you could have but I know from my own personal experience with appendicitis that I had horrible gas pains in my stomach but no gas. It was horrible cramping achey feeling in my stomach and at the worse part of the pain for me I felt like I had to curl up and wasnt able to walk. Also I know this maybe a lil to much info but when I got to the hosptial I started having to go the bathroom and pooped a whole bunch of white gunk out. It was just white goop I know thats gross but later the dr. told me it was just infection from my appendix being inflammed for so long. Don't know what to do about 3 month old baby's feeds? Can you help?....?

My baby boy is going to be 11 weeks old on Thursday. The problem I'm having is I'm not sure if he's getting what he needs from his feeds because he's still asking for them every 2 hours. He's not really changed his pattern at all from birth apart from now taking more feed. He was born 8lb 11oz and now weighs 14lbs so he's doing well there. It's just he wants feeding every 2 hours, day and night, so he's having 12 bottles in a 24 hour period. He now has 5oz (150ml) in each bottle, sometimes he takes it all, sometimes he leaves about 20 or 30 ml in the bottom, he won't take any more than the 150ml at once. My husband works away and so I'm on my own and it's really starting to take it's toll on me now. He's on Cow and Gate comfort, which really settled his colic and seems fine for him, but I can't understand why he's not going longer between feeds, everyone I speak too have babies which went much longer than this at this stage. I can't understand what I'm doing wrong. Because he's quite a big strong boy people have told me to try a tiny bit of baby rice before bed to keep him a little fuller but then others say you should never do this (I had a tiny spoonful of baby rice from 3 months and was absolutely fine). I just want him to be a little fuller and don't really want to change his milk again as it upset him last time. I'm not sure what to do, I'm so exhausted now. I feel like I'm doing things wrong.

Which camera would be better for me? Canon Rebel XS or Nikon D60?

I've had a Sony Cybershot camera for about 3 or 4 years and I've used it religiously, I loveeee it, but it's old and I'm ready to step up to the next level of photography. I wanted to get a Nikon D60 at first, I had my heart set on it, but then when I wanted to start practicing with a DSLR, I started using my mom's Canon Rebel XT and starting getting used to it and I like it. And when I use my friends' Nikon D60's, they just feel wrong in my hand. Generally, I've heard mostly good things about Nikon, but I've also heard lots of good things about Canon. And the lady I talked to at Best Buy, who was a photographer, told me that between the XS and D60, there isn't much of a difference except the lens that comes with the D60 has image stabilization (see other question I have posted about lens...) and the XS lens doesn't, but the XS has more key points for autofocus....so ultimately, I was wondering from any of you who have one of the cameras but have picked up and used the other one at least once, what are the pros and cons of each camera? Just tell me your opinion on which one you think I should get. And if this helps, I shoot mostly macro and pictures of people. Thank you :)
