Quick weight loss............?

Okay so, for the past month i have been gradually building up my gym workouts and cutting out things like alcohol etc. im going on holiday in 70 days and would really be aiming to lose 30 pounds, i am 20, and my basic diet during this period is going to be that of porridge made with water (+a bit of honey or jam) for bfast, low cal+fat soup for lunch, then lean protein like tuna or chicken with fresh veg for tea, snacks are things like fruit, a weight watchers yoghurt or a special k bar. So starting monday i increased my daily gym time time to an hour of cardio (a mix of cycle, jog/run/crcross trainerthen sit ups and other various strength machine things. also hour walks/jogs in the parks with friends after if its not raining. Will i notice a change in the 70 days? or have i left it too late...
