Why do Republicans/ Conservatives think Ronald Reagan was a fool for wanting nuclear weapons banished?

Republicans/Conservatives get their talking points or " Education " from right wing radio or Fox News hence if Ronald Reagan wants a Nuclear Free world then Its OK and If Barack Obama wants it then its not OK I am sorry but I do find Republicans as Hypocrites
